A water leak in City Hall prompted an 20-minute evacuation Tuesday after students hung items from sprinkler pipes.
University spokeswoman Michelle Sherrard said the damaged pipe caused a large water leak in the fourth-floor room of the residence hall. EMeRG treated the student who had caused the damage, but Sherrard said there were no injuries. D.C. Fire and EMS responded to the incident.
Sherrard said she did not know what items students had hung there.
The 24-year-old building, located at 950 24th St., houses juniors and seniors.
